Art brings great joy in every human being. It provides a means to express the imagination that is not tied to the formality of spoken or written language. It’s a form of communication. They bring out a particular emotion or mood for the purpose of relaxation or entertainment. It often is considered therapeutic for the artist as well as for the viewer.
KobSook mission is to bring more creativity into the world. It is a space for talented differently abled Artists where they joyously create art and express themselves. KobSook in Buddhism means ‘A person with a happy heart and compassion’. KobSook is an Indian brand with purpose. Our vision is to create a niche brand by focusing on Artist Designed products like footwear and bags.
The company collaborates with differently -abled youth through Aims Media and empowers these remarkable young artists to display their creative abilities in the form of digital art. This digital art is further recreated on canvas shoes and bags. The dream is simple, to provide these Artists an equivalent status as that of the prevalent and generate sustainable employment opportunities. Every product of KobSook is limited-edition which is colourful, funky and very comfy. Every constituent of our product, from the sole to the thread connecting the fabric, is 100% made in India. In the process, our honest endeavour is generating employment, encouraging skills development and entrepreneurship and contributing to the larger National dream of “Make in India” and offering quality products to our customers. We aim to make you look exclusive by offering the most unique collection of fashion. We ensure our every patron of art walks with Joy.“There is no need to go out of the way to make them feel special but simply not treating them differently does the trick. We at KobSook believe that they should be given a chance to showcase their aptitude and accomplishment to yield recognition and inclusion in the society on their own merit. As parents of a person with Autism, we were in search of opportunities to showcase her talents and skills to a wider arena, KobSook offered her paid internship in recognition of her talent and encouraged to explore more by transforming her designs to actual utility products. KobSook is a setting an example for practicing diversity in the job market, by providing equal opportunities to the less recognized artists with disabilities.
