The year was 2022, Aziz Kapasi's yearning to do something for the society had been growing for quite some time now and eventually it got better of him. This calling led to the creation of KobSook, an artistic sneaker brand that celebrates differently-abled youth. At its core, KobSook exists to create meaningful value in the lives of these young adults, empowering them through skill development and in the process, creating a sustainable business model.
Since the beginning, KobSook has been committed to encouraging social inclusivity by building a community #iamdifferentbutable. This movement aims not only to create job opportunities but also raise awareness and sensitize society to the abilities of differently-abled individuals. At KobSook, from designing-both digitally and hand painting, to managing inventory, processing orders and packaging products, differently-abled team members are trained in all facets of the business. By involving them in all aspects of the company processes, KobSook provides them with a sense of purpose and confidence, challenging the conventional idea of “normal”.
With a mission to inspire social change, KobSook stands as a purpose-driven brand, deeply rooted in compassion. It aims to set a powerful example of how businesses can create value not only through products but also by empowering communities that are often overlooked. Today, we take pride in saying that KobSook is more than just a brand- it’s a movement towards inclusivity and opportunity for all.
