Exclusive wearable art by Neurodivergent Artists

We believe creativity should be recognised for what it is: talent, expression and a unique way of seeing the world. Yet many neurodivergent artists remain outside the reach of the mainstream art and fashion world. Their work is vivid, detailed and full of ideas, and too often, hardly anyone gets to see it.

KobSook wanted to bring their work into a space where it could be seen, experienced and valued. So we asked a different question: what if their art didn't need a gallery wall at all? What if it could walk out the door with you, to streets, campuses, cafés, offices and commutes?

Art that travels. Art worn by people who choose it.

What is Kobsook ?

KobSook turns the creativity of neurodivergent artists into wearable art. Every design begins with an artist’s signature artwork, brought to life on canvas or suede canvas footwear and made in small batches in India.

KobSook derives its meaning from Buddhism, it refers to a person with a happy heart and compassion. It felt like the right name for what we wanted to create: art that brings joy to the person who makes it, and to the person who chooses to wear it.

Every KobSook design starts the same way : With a neurodivergent artist and a blank page. From there it becomes a concept, then a finished artwork, then a sneaker you can wear. Nothing about the art changes on the way. What you see on the shoe is what they made.

OUR PROCESS

1. Empowering Talent

Our collaboration with AEMP (Inclusive Accessible TechEd) as a training partner empowers differently-abled artists with the skills to turn their dreams into reality. Through comprehensive skill development programs, they are trained in various aspects of design, packaging, and business operations.

2. Theme to Art

Our artists are inspired by the world around them, creating conceptual designs based on the themes provided, like nature, culture, and abstract art.

Digital Art: Skilled artists bring their imagination into pixels using digital tools, creating stunning digital art.

Handcrafted Heritage: For those who prefer a traditional touch, our artists meticulously hand-paint designs, which are then converted into digital through high-resolution scanning.

3. Art to Exclusively Yours

These artworks are brought to life by printing them on handpicked canvas fabric and canvas suede fabric. Fabric selection for each sneaker ensures every product is made of materials that are durable and provide unmatched comfort. We create only a limited quantity of each design, so every customer owns their style and becomes part of an exclusive club.

Our eco-friendly packaging reflects our commitment to sustainability. Each pair comes with a biodegradable shoe pouch and a card that tells the story of KobSook. Arshdeep Singh

Pure talent and a great storyteller

Meet Arshdeep, 23, an autistic artist with a remarkable imagination. He sketches, hand paints and creates digital art, and his puppet crafts bring superheroes and Star Wars characters to life. He also invents his own heroes, like Alvin Skywalker and Laysen Daster, each with their own adventures. Confident on camera and happiest in the limelight, he's ready with "Main aapko ek baat bataoon?" Imaginative, expressive and entirely original.

Saloni

Art, Design & Handicraft her language

Meet Saloni, a creative and hardworking artist who has a hearing and speech disability and has found a language that needs no translation: colour, design and craft. She loves painting, designing on her laptop and making handicrafts, and every piece carries a little of her imagination. Give her a moment to be understood, and you'll find someone thoughtful and full of ideas. Creative, determined and wonderfully expressive.

Vishal Handa

Operations pro, fashion lover, KobSook’s calm centre

Meet Vishal, 28, the calm centre of the KobSook studio. Quiet and steady, he has a flair for digital art and paintings, and he independently manages order processing and inventory with focus and confidence. Outside work, he's a fashion lover (ears pierced!), foodie, festival fan, runner and devotee of Lord Hanuman. His most adorable habit is that he never announces a new purchase, but somehow everyone notices. Calm, capable and quietly fabulous.

Shreya Jena

Work discipline, dance lover, natural host

Arshdeep's vision transforms everyday moments into statements of intent. Each piece carries the weight of intention—cut with precision, crafted without compromise. Sanyam Gupta

The smile, the music, the office DJ

Meet Sanyam, 29, a social science graduate who is almost always smiling. He is the self-appointed office DJ, and getting control of Alexa from him is a serious challenge. He is diligent, takes instructions seriously and loves to chat, often repeating what he or others say, followed by a mischievous grin. He greets everyone and lights up whenever a camera appears. Warm, reliable and endlessly cheerful.

Muskaan Walia

Quietly creative, endlessly caring

Meet Muskan, 24, who is shy at first but talkative and expressive with her close circle. She draws, paints and animates, is pursuing computer animation, and has even had a design featured on a canvas shoe. Caring is her love language, so expect check-in calls, warm hugs and plenty of photos. She also loves Diwali, yoga and shopping for bags and jewellery, and she always answers her phone. Positive, persistent and quietly strong.

Ritik Pandita

Always busy, always learning

Meet Ritik, who is happiest when he has something to do. He enjoys outings to the mall and a good game, and he loves studying, especially English reading and writing. Always ready to work and keen to learn something new, he does his best in a calm, friendly space. Sitting idle is simply not his style. Focused, curious and always up for the next task.

Amogh Khatri

Curious mind, big dreamer, quietly spiritual

Meet Amogh, 20, whose mind is always full of questions, from how banks work to how to travel the world. He loves drawing, painting and music, and he expresses his thoughts and dreams clearly. Those dreams are big: Paris, flights everywhere and one day a Rolls-Royce. Chanting the Hanuman Chalisa brings him comfort, and he is deeply close to his family. Curious, heartfelt and full of ambition.

Yami Samurai

"Yami" renders a lone samurai in inked, sketchy strokes against a bold crimson sun, set on a weathered speckled canvas. The stark black-and-white texture with a single splash of red gives it a moody, warrior-like intensity.

Stallion

His Mission

Kobsook began with one single conviction : To turn exclusive art by neurodivergent artists into footwear people can actually wear. Every artist is a salaried, credited member of the team, not a benificiary of a cause. We print their work on canvas and suede canvas footwear. Made in small batches in India and put their name on it.
After two decades in coroporate leadership, Aziz Kapasi wanted to give back to the society , but sustainably.

His Vision

A future where a neurodivergent artist's sketchbook doesn't stay in a drawer. It becomes a sneaker worn by someone who chose it because the art meant something.
